Why does this role exist?

Lenovo's commercial business growth is critical for driving Japan's business growth. We seek a strong commercial marketing Sr. manager who has a strategic mind and is passionate about building Lenovo awareness with professional customers and leading quality leads acquisitions with good customer insights to improve the conversion probability, by developing a marketing strategy, and using a variety of updated marketing tactics for the executions.

As our company is transforming from PC-centric to a variety of service & solution-offering organizations across business units in Lenovo, we seek strong leadership to manage this transition.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the E2E planning and execution of comprehensive marketing activities targeting each segment of the large enterprise, SMB, channel partners, and services by maintaining efficient ROI, and acquiring and nurturing quality leads to lead to business growth and share gains.
  • Build good relationships with WW and AP counterparts to maximize the use of ATL&DG assets as well as work with solutions partners to develop a go-to-market strategy with compelling messaging and content for all stages of the funnel.
  • Take advantage of diverse media and digital marketing techniques, maximize awareness of Lenovo’s services and solutions offering, success stories and thought leadership in the market, and contribute to mid and long-term sales revenue maximization.
  • Utilize the strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints and open to use the data-driven insights to pursue PoCs to approach the target audience.
  • Establish a clear influencer/advocate strategy and build strategic relationships with subject matter experts, partners, and vendors to attract target verticals and market segments

Key Interaction with:

  • Reporting to Japan CMO
  • Elaborate plan with members of the Commercial marketing team
  • Put the plan into practice with agencies.
  • Collaborate with Sales and e-Commerce team.
  • Collaborate with 4P strategy/Operation team AP Commercial marketing director and team
  • Alliance partners (Microsoft, Intel, AMD, Nvidia, Adobe)

Business Trip (Location, frequency):

A few times a year in AP

Qualifications

Requirements (Experience)

Must-have:

  • 12 - 15 years of experience in the IT industry and B2B environment
  • 5 years+ of People management experience
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in the latest marketing trends
  • Experience in collaboration and reporting with APAC and WW marketing teams, such as program PDCA, KPI performance tracking, and sharing of campaign success experiences
  • Lead nurturing using marketing automation
  • 5+ years in digital and online marketing

Good to have:

  • Microsoft/Intel marketing development fund experience
  • Work experience in International Companies

Requirements (Skill, Competency)

Must-have:

  • Fluent English, Fluent Japanese
  • Self-Starter/Entrepreneurial
  • Understanding of a series of sales processes such as contact acquisition and lead generation, and experience in developing measures at each stage
  • High-level logical thinking, critical thinking
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Logical communication skills
  • Ability to deliver quality results under stress and strict time constraints.
  • Practical, flexible, and result-oriented mindset (no silo, no bureaucracy)
  • Demonstrated ability to address complex and ambiguous business problems with minimal guidance.
  • Strong English proficiency required to interact with APAC &HQ teams in face-to-face, phone to phone interactions
  • MS Excel and PowerPoint
